Christmas is always a wonderful time here at The Old Inn with
festive menus and plenty of decorations, let us help you celebrate
Christmas with Friends, Family or Work Colleagues.
The Old Inn Christmas Menu are available from
30th November until 24th December 2023.
Lunchtime 12.00 – 14.00
Evenings 18.00 – 20.30
Available Wednesday – Saturday
(Excludes Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
We have put together our Christmas menu with what we think
are
some lovely combinations and flavours to give you what we hope
is the perfect meal for this celebration time.
Whilst we are running our regular menu at this time,
we ask that the whole table orders from the same menu and
pre ordering will of course be necessary
Deposits will be required (£5 per person for groups of
more than six)

Salmon Platter – a trio of salmon dishes served with
a salad garnish
and sourdough bread (Homemade Smoked Salmon Mousse,
Poached Salmon with Dill Mayonnaise, Beetroot Gravlax)
Chef’s Ham Hock Terrine (gf,lf)
or Roasted Vegetable Terrine (Vegan)
served with Piccalilli and Malted Bloomer Toast
Homemade Broccoli and Stilton Soup with a Warm roll and
Butter (v)
Traditional Turkey Roast or
Almond Cranberry and Cashew Nut Roast (Vegan)
Slow Roasted Lamb Shank served on a bed of Dauphinoise Potatoes
with a Red wine and Cranberry Jus
Fresh Pan Fried Hake served on a bed of creamy beans with

with Clotted Cream or Brandy Custard
The Old Inn Baked Alaska (layers of chocolate sponge, amaretto,
raspberries and ice-cream baked in a meringue crust)
